My movie is about how my mother sacrificed herself to give me a better life.
It is very important to my children to understand where they come from and how much their ancestors had to suffer in order for us to become what we are. Many times we say that our success come from ourselves. However, without the help of our parents or family our success would not have happen. Therefore behind every success there are a lot of people involve.
The story can help other people to understand how immigrants leave all what they know, leave their love ones, and come to this country in hope of a better life. Immigrants have to adapt to a different culture, learn a new language, celebrate different holidays, etc. My story can be used as an example of how immigrants contribute to society because lately immigrants have being considered as a negative influence in our society. Also, students can learn that they can achieve their goals no matter what the obstacles are.
